They're baaaack . . .

Here is a link to the new (and improved?) VIP thread at StarWars.com . . . the old one, of course, was the source of many of the statements from Sue Rostoni of LLP, Leland Chee of LL, and others involved mostly with the EU.

It's bound to be an interesting read, especially if "Darth Talas" jumps in with some more leading questions. translation: Wayne, you freak, leave Rostoni alone.

Maybe we'll finally be able to get some more facts about star wars canon.

Well, not from there. LFL keeps the SW canon, not Licensing.

I know you've probably documented the Holocron's Continuity, but is what the Holocron created by Leland Chee says official?

Well, it's pretty official in regards to the EU. The Holocron is Licensing's (and LLP's) internal database for performing what ChronoRadio's Nathan Butler calls "conflict-resolution" . . . in other words, inconsistencies.

However, as of a couple of years ago Lucas had never heard of the Holocron, and Chee confirmed that Lucas never uses it for his own creations. So, it isn't official insofar as being of any import to Lucas or LFL.
